Information Communication Skills course is practically grounded in knowledge, skills and competencies suitable to develop creative and intellectual expertise for personal, interpersonal, group and intercultural communication; academic/research and professional/business purposes. It is a cross-cutting course for all programmes in sciences, and humanities and social sciences.

The course deals with communication and information related aspects that include communication process, purpose and barriers; principles of effective communication; writing skills and applications; business communication; job hunting and writing letters of application; writing reports; term paper and research project; reading skills and applications; information and critical thinking; public speaking; oral presentation skills; speech writing for multicultural and international audience; active listening skills and strategies, and practicing some notable speeches.
